  I had the worst experience going into the Myaree store. I was disappointed and shocked at the horrible customer service I received.  I felt unwelcome as soon as I entered the store as two ladies were sitting behind a high desk and were hardly visible. We were never approached or had a nice welcome, we had to approach the desk to seek assistance. When doing this we were greeted by the older customer service attendant with short red hair on her phone. She made us wait for her to finish texting before she spoke to us. I couldn’t believe the unprofessional behaviour she was displaying. She was then rude and abrupt to our questions we asked. It made us feel very awkward and annoyed and we didn’t want to spend any money in the store after that. Very sad to see that staff member ruining that business. I wouldn’t recommend going there after that and would recommend that the lady get some extra training on how to act while at work and how to give good customer service.

  An interesting, albeit, disappointing experience. I purchased an outdoor setting at full price ($1499) on the Friday 23rd December after being in the Myaree store for over an hour looking at numerous settings. On the following Monday (Boxing Day) the same set went down 40% to $899 in a storewide sale. I contacted the Myaree store about it and they suggested I contact the customer care team at head office.
  
  I called and spoke to the Operations Manager and explained my frustration and was informed that this was unfortunate but due to company policy her hands were tied. I asked why no staff member had informed me of the impending sale and was told that "every store in Australia goes on sale after Christmas" (suggesting that the customer should know when a store goes on sale) and also "staff members don't know about a sale until they walk in on the day" (contrary to her previous statement).
  
  The OM told me all she could do was request that I send an email and ask that it be forwarded to a Director and they will chose whether to contact me or not. I followed up again today (2nd January) and spoke to the OM and once again was told that the Directors will decide whether they want to do anything about it or not, without being able to give me any timeframe or realistic expectation as to when or if I'll be contacted. I was also informed that the she was not happy that I had made a complaint about her (in my email addressed to her, I told her that I found her "every store in Australia goes on sale..." comment to be condescending). I also said I found it was misleading to consumers that on their website they claim to be "unbeatable on price" despite my own experience suggesting otherwise.
  
  On the very same day that I purchased the setting, I did some other Christmas shopping at Myer. The sales assistant informed me that the item I was purchasing was actually going on sale after Christmas and that he would give me the sale price. A welcome surprise and a complete juxtaposition to the experience I would have at Segals.
  
  Happy enough with the setting itself, however feeling ripped off having paid $600 more only 2 days prior to the sale. Disappointing that a WA company would let down local customers in this fashion. I hope my experience is an outlier, but at this stage my experience so far has been 1 out of 5 and I would not recommend.
